A When All Balls Drop Moment
On September 27, 2009, a hard knock in the head reminded me of the power of perspective. Some say my freak accident was being at the wrong place at the wrong time, but I believe I was in the right place at the right time. From that blunt run-in with a thousand-pound tree limb, I found myself at a When All Balls Drop moment, which forced me to look at my situation with new eyes, taking control of what I had control over, my perspective.
Creation of the Look Up Mantra
From this grew, the lesson and Look Up Mantra, which I celebrate not only every 27th of the month as Look Up Day but also, I share the powerful Look Up Mantra with the world. Look Up is a limitless, lightweight life tool that you can have in your back pocket wherever you are and whatever you might be going through.
10th Anniversary of Look Up and Look Up Day!
On this 10th anniversary of the accident that sparked its creation, I share with you this video filmed from the dense forests of the Kii Peninsula of Japan where I walked the Kumano Kodo in celebration of this milestone anniversary.
