Adventures
What’s with all this adventure stuff?
Simple: Adventure is the life hack that the gurus don’t tell you about!
Whether you know me from my books, presentations, Twitter chats, blog posts, or from traveling with me, you know that I’m all about adventure and its benefits. I consider adventure as an essential component to a happy and healthy life. Many think that I’m full of you know what when I say this, but there is a science to adventure.
Adventure Defined
In order to prove the value of adventure, let’s agree to a broader definition of adventure. It is NOT only for adrenaline junkies.
Ad-ven-ture /ad-ven(t)SHer/: any new activity that is all consuming, perhaps fearful, that puts you in the zone. It can be physical, mental, emotional, or a combination of all three.
In fact, I believe so strongly in adventure I published this quote in my book With New Eyes,
“Adventure is my meditation.”
Let me further convince you that adventure can be a form of meditation by sharing with you some of my favorite adventure posts and talks.
I’d love to hear about your next adventure. Head on over to this post and share with me the answer to this question: What’s your next adventure?
