My name is Heidi Siefkas, but I have gone by many other nicknames – pumpkin, Hi-d, Miss Trempealeau, and Heidi Suitcase, which morphed into Ms Traveling Pants. I was born and raised in a small Wisconsin town surrounded by dairy farms, cornfields, and apple orchards. I love cheese, a good cob of corn, and of course apples and cider.
However, don’t let the small town girl thing fool you. I’m sassy and well traveled. I’ve hung my hat in many places, including: Boston, Florida, Alaska, Madrid, and Hawaii. I’ve jumped out of airplanes. I ran the Boston Marathon in 2004. And, I even broke my neck once.
