Which Are The Best US States To See?

The US is one of those destinations which should be right at the top of everyone’s bucket list. If you have never been to America, or you live there but you have not traveled extensively, the fact is that there is so much to be gained from doing so. It truly is one of the most remarkable and interesting places in the world. A good way to decide how to plan out your trip is to think about which states you would most like to visit. Here are some of the best that you might want to consider, if you are wondering which to go for first and foremost.

Washington

If you are wondering where to go first, you may as well start out with the only state to be named after a President. There is plenty to do in Washington, and it also happens to be very beautiful as well. In fact, it has even been nicknamed the Evergreen State due to its sheer abundance of greenery and natural beauty. The main jewel in the crown of Washington has to be the Emerald City - Seattle, which is known for its rainy climate and friendly vibes. You should definitely check it out if you’re in this neck of the woods.

Connecticut

Whether or not you have thought much in the past about visiting Connecticut, the fact is that it is a very exciting and interesting place to go, with so much on offer that you are going to want to check out. As with Washington, this state is also known for its natural beauty, and it’s actually a great place to go if you want to try out some external exploration of some kind or another. Whether that’s visiting waterfalls, going rafting, or just going for a walk - one of the top activities in Greenwich, Connecticut, to name but one example.

Wyoming

Again, it is rarely the first state that tourists think to visit, but that is part of why you might want to check Wyoming out. This has some of the most interesting natural wildlife you will find anywhere in the states, and it is home to more national parks than any other state in the country. If you want to go and check out a cowboy ranch, or soak in some natural hot springs, then the endless wilderness of Wyoming is really the one to check out. You might be surprised at just how breathtakingly beautiful it really is.

Texas

As they say, everything is bigger in Texas, and it certainly seems to be. Wherever you may be traveling from, you’ll want to check out Texas if you are keen on finding a slice of American life that you are just not going to find anywhere else. Texas can be an intimidating place for many, but there is no doubt that you will have a blast - and you might be surprised by how welcoming many of the people can be as well. All in all, it’s well worth a visit.
