What would you do to celebrate completion of a book?
On this Look Up Day, a holiday celebrated each 27th to remind up all to #Look Up (Be mindful & Spin each situation positively), I wanted to share with you an amazing adventure that I took on the North Shore of Kauai this summer, the Kalalau Trail.
In writing my first book When All Balls Drop and the sequel With New Eyes, I have strived to spread the message of the power of perspective. I unveiled #LookUp in the first book. Since I have piggybacked on that mantra by adding my unique form of meditation to the mix with the sequel.
“Adventure is My Meditation.“ – Heidi Siefkas from With New Eyes
The Kalalau Trail was one of the most challenging hikes I have done: 22-miles, precarious ledges, changing conditions, and all with your camping gear, water, and food on your back. You better believe I was very much in the moment and mindful every step of the way.
Enjoy my Kalalau Trail adventure video on this #LookUpDay in honor of the most powerful life tool we all have at our deposal, the ability to change our perspective.
I will be releasing my sequel book, With New Eyes, in September. If you would like to get a sneak peek, sign up here to get a 50-page VIP excerpt.
Here’s to looking up!
