With New Eyes Spotted with a Pisco Sour – Want the recipe?

I love seeing where and how readers enjoy reading my second book, With New Eyes,  Since launch, I've received many photos via email and social media from far-flung places as well as locations where this story takes place.

So far, I've showcased reader shots from the beach in Long Islandpoolside, with a good bottle of wine, in bed with a furry friend, and now with a pisco sour, a typical South American cocktail in Peru and Chile.

What is especially touching about this photo is that I share a special pisco sour experience from my South American walkabout in With New Eyes. On the day that I saw my first glacier in Patagonia, Chile, I was served a pisco sour with glacier ice. Now, that's happy hour done right or as the bartender said, "Pisco Sour Hour."

Because I believe that recipes are the best souvenirs, I learned how to make a pisco sour. You will find the recipe in With New Eyes on pg 223.

If you haven't gotten a copy of With New Eyes, get yours. It's available on all major online booksellers in print and eversions. Please submit your photos either via email or on social media with the hashtag #WithNewEyes. Maybe your picture will be next!

Here's to looking up!
