After my recent adventure to the Emerald Isle to discover my roots, I wanted to share the best of a week in Ireland from my perspective. As in all of my travels, I like to mix it up a bit with active hiking portions and cultural elements.
Adventure and Cultural Travel in Ireland
On this week-long trip, a lot of ground was covered: the Wicklow Mountains, Rock of Cashel, Limerick, Galway, Cliffs of Moher, Trad music sessions, whiskey tasting, Guinness Tour, and of course the City where the girls are fair, Dublin.

Ireland was spectacular. Everywhere I turned there was craic (fun). The people were friendly. The music was superb. Also, I have to say the rumors are right, Guinness tastes better in the Land of Saints and Scholars.
