This spotting of summer reading of When All Balls Drop is from La Crosse, Wisconsin. The picture nearly stopped me from my daily routine because it home on two fronts. First, La Crosse is very near where I grew up (as the crow flies twenty miles). However, most importantly because this shows the Cass Street Bridge and Pettibone Beach. It just so happens that my parents’ first meeting was at that beach.
