Join Me in Kauai for a Dose of Aloha Mixed with Hola – Reading of Cubicle to Cuba

With thousands of miles between my two favorite islands, Cuba and Kauai, you would think they would be worlds apart. However, nope, no, and even nah brah (Hawaiian pidgin), Kauai and Cuba have many similarities. I know you are curious. What could be the same about theses two islands? Let's find out together.

Join me on the Garden Island of Kauai for a dose of ALOHA mixed with HOLA. As a special treat, I'll read from my latest book, Cubicle to Cuba, which was written in Kauai.

I hope you enjoyed the virtual dose of aloha mixed with un poco of hola. If you would like to travel with me to Cuba in October, sign up today. Spots are filling up fast. If you haven't gotten a copy of Cubicle to Cuba, it will entertain you, but also inspire you to live a life full of adventure.

Here's to looking up!

Hi Heidi, Happy to see you smiling. Hope your Cuba tours are doing well. Fyi, I grew up in Havana and Trinidad in late 50s.

Charlie, I didn't know that you grew up in Havana and Trinidad. Wow, what a time to be there! However, I have to say right now is a spectacular time as well. Cuba is transition and becoming Cuba 2.0.

There's a reason why I gravitate towards tropical islands; thus, I land in Kauai and Cuba.
  3. Hello from Kauai! I've never paddled the Na Pali Coast - sounds like an adventure!

Paddling the NaPali is amazing, but not for those that haven't paddled before. It's long and the Pacific really shows you who's boss. You can only do it safely May-Sept. I would also suggest going with an outfitter that provides kayaks, guide, lunch, and insider knowledge of the coast and its hidden caves.
