Local Author Makes a Splash with When All Balls Drop at Kauai’s Talk Story Bookstore

Last evening, local author Heidi Siefkas hosted a book signing of her recently released inspirational memoir, When All Balls Drop: The Upside of Losing Everything, at Hanapepe's Talk Story Bookstore. With Friday Art Night in full swing as well as Talk Story celebrating its 10th year anniversary, the turnout was spectacular. In sharing her story of surviving breaking her neck and the life change that ensued, Siefkas signed copies of her book for not only Kauai readers, but also visitors from as far as Heidelberg, Germany. Also, it was a welcomed surprise to connect with readers from locations in the book such as Hudson River Valley, New York, La Crosse, Wisconsin, Quincy, Massachusetts, and Broward County Florida.

You can read the Garden Island article here and listen to the Kong Radio interview here. For those that were unable to attend the event, you can connect with Siefkas on Facebook and Twitter. Her memoir, When All Balls Drop, is available at all of Siefkas' events, at select locally owned bookstores, including Talk Story Bookstore, as well as on her website.

Many thanks to all that attended the When All Balls Drop signing. A special MAHALO to Ed and Cynthia at Talk Story Bookstore, The Garden Island, and Kong Radio.
